if then else began as a form of admiration. I was reading a number of other webcomics and thought, "I could do that!" GPF was a significant factor and inspired me to put pencil to paper and begin drawing. Well, that and boring mathematics lectures in college. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but the time has come to stop imitating and start coming up with my own original ideas. This is one of the primary reasons if then else will no longer be updated.

The decision to end if then else prematurely wasn't an easy one. It's been incredibly difficult scripting the dialog as of late, and the current storyline seems to be drawn out more than it really should. I realized the characters and plot had reached its limit. Of course, there are some scenes and storylines I had in mind from the beginning to reach, but the path to reach those is muddled at best. It's best to end it now before I ruin what was once a good thing.
